Our Approach to Children's Dentistry

Children's dental needs change as they grow. Our goal is to provide age-appropriate care while helping families understand their child's oral health, treatment options and preventive needs.

Preventive pediatric care
Restorative treatment
Emergency dental care
Orthodontic care
Special-needs dentistry
Sedation options when appropriate

From First Visits Through the Teen Years

Routine first dental visits at our office generally begin around 12 months of age. When a parent or caregiver has a dental concern, we can see children earlier.

As children grow, care can progress from prevention and early treatment through adolescent dentistry and orthodontic evaluation and treatment when appropriate.

Care for Children With Special Needs

We care for children with special needs, including children with autism and sensory considerations. Every child is different, so the dental visit and treatment approach can be adapted to the individual patient's needs and comfort.
